Another Author Reports On His Trip Down Kindle Publishing Path

Here's another author's perspective on the pros & cons of publishing on Kindle....

I'd have to say I'm much more rooted in the 'Pro' camp than this author, as I believe that the new freedom to publish good, bad and even crappy work will continue to be a boon for self-publishing indie writers who have always been seen as tools by traditional publishers.

Yes, publishing a Kindle book is hard. And there's no guarantee you'll make a lot of money for your time and effort. But, likewise, there's no guarantee that if you sign a book publishing contract with a traditional publisher, large or small press, that you'll make a lot of money for your time and effort.

I think the main benefit for self-publishing is the control authors have and the freedom they enjoy.

What's your take on this new self-publishing revolution going on all around us? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
